Vue RIS ONC-ATCB Certification
Carestream’s Vue RIS has a unique certification with the ONC-ATCB. Vue RIS is certified as a complete EHR for eligible professionals (EP) and modular certification for eligible hospitals (EH) for Stage 1 of Meaningful Use.
One of the first stand alone RIS platforms to satisfy Stage 1 meaningful use requirements, the software's broad functionality can help eliminate the need to purchase an EHR or integrate multiple third-party systems.
In addition to collecting or tracking receipt of Stage 1 data (including an active patient medication list and a number of ambulatory clinical quality measures) Carestream’s RIS also provides: embedded voice recognition; critical results reporting; centralized patient scheduling and management reports that track patient referrals by physician and modality reading by each radiologist. RIS management tools provide profitability rates for each modality, patient wait times and volumes by modality or location, and the ability to examine imaging workflows to help eliminate bottlenecks or unnecessary tasks.
